Cumulants from fluctuating width of rapidity distribution

چکیده

In relativistic heavy-ion collisions, the longitudinal fluctuations of fireball density caused, e.g., by baryon stopping result in event-by-event modifications shape proton rapidity distribution. The multiparticle correlation functions due to varying distribution width central Au+Au collisions at low energies are derived. cumulant ratios calculated and discussed context recent STAR Collaboration results. We find that for small seem be universal.
